Jack & Benny's Old North Diner

I met up with a few friends here for lunch. We wrote our name down on the waitlist and only had to wait for about 5-10 minutes before we could be sat. The waiting area has some chairs and tons of plants surrounding you. The menu had all of your basic breakfast and brunch options. I opted for a half serving of French toast with tea, while my friends ordered the Arnold, and some type of sandwich (pictured). Everyone seemed pleased with their choices. The vibe here is laid back and you don't feel rushed to finish your food and leave. The noise level was tolerable, so that was nice. We were able to hold a conversation and still be able to hear each other. I would like to return in the future!

I’m no fan of OSU at all in fact we were in town for the PSU wrestling match where we stomped OSU. But the food at this place was amazing it’s a dirty grease pit for sure. But the service was fast the food was hot and delicious. The price was more than reasonable and did I mention the food was amazing. Highly recommend having breakfast here if you’re in town!

REAL ORANGE JUICE! It was amazing. We ordered orange juice with our meals, no biggie. But when they arrived they looked funny to us. The color was off. Well it was because it was FRESH SQUEEZED! Amazing ! The food was also very good. My wife enjoyed the breakfast burrito, it was quite large. I had one of their specials, it was great. The food arrived quickly and hot.

It's a good place to grab a bit of breakfast with a friend. It's about what you would expect out of any breakfast diner. Food came out pretty fast and we were met promptly with a waiter when we were seated. Big downside of this place is the low amount of seating. Granted they can only do so much with the small amount of space that they have so I can't really fault them for that. Expect to wait at least 15 minutes to get seated when you come here. The food itself was fine. About what I would expect from a breakfast diner and the prices were fair. I'd come back sometime maybe on a weekday when it's a little less busy. Nice little place with a good atmosphere though.

While visiting Columbus for the OSU game, this amazing breakfast place was recommended! It is a family owned restaurant and the food is absolutely amazing! They also have an orange juice squeeze and make it fresh for every glass! The food was perfect and well seasoned! It tastes homemade, the way it should! We travel to Columbus often and we cannot wait to visit Jack and Benny’s again! Thank you for your hospitality!

Been coming here for years. Local.family owns it. Great food, long wait if you go on sunday, but worth it. Sausage gravy biscuits or jacks dad are a pwrsonal favourite
